This is the tenth year that locally founded A Soldier’s Child has been stepping-in to help children of fallen soldiers. It’s usually with birthdays, Christmas, camp, leadership and more.
The first birthday gift recipient was Christian, the son of Murfreesboro’s Marc Golczynski, a Marine staff sergeant killed in Iraq. This year 4,000 children of fallen soldiers will be
served, and within three-years that number explodes to 10,000.
A SOLDIER’S CHILD Founder and Executive Director Daryl Mackin told Murfreesboro Rotary members about a coming of age surprise that parents often try to give.
