The Murfreesboro Rotary Club presented a $5,000 gift to United Way’s “Books From Birth” program as a way to promote childhood literacy in Rutherford County.

The club’s focus is to encourage the healthy development of youth and it does so with disctionaries for every third grade student in the county, along with funding of schools in third world countries.
